It worked yesterday; I was able to export my sequence with my .mp3 playing; today the same sequence won’t play the same .mp3 nor will it play in the viewer, but every other program opens .mp3s fine. Thanks for any help.

FCP doesn’t like MP3 files. I use iTunes to convert them into AIFF files at 48K. I’ve tried a couple of other ways, but iTunes seems to do the best conversion.

true… FC and mp3 dont mix. AIFF are good but I heard that sometimes they too can cause probles (havent to me though). I convert my mp3 into WAV. A good and free conversion program is MAX (Macintosh Audio for OS X).
