Thanks for the reply. I wasn’t prepared to upgrade as usually I have my videos edited elsewhere.

Have you experienced or head of issues with Vegas 12 and XAVC from an F55?

My video is only 2 minutes long but the cutting is very complicated. Indeed, I created a few projects for different sections.

Only when I hit the ‘Delete Unused Media’ tab was I able to drag sections from one project into another, which backs up Jay Allen wrote.

One would expect to be to import multiple QT Prores files, since they are industry standard offline (and often online) files.

  • Yes I have had the same issue before – I had forgot about that! When it happened last, it was on a different computer and on a totally different project.

I believe it happens when NeatVideo plugin is activated. I have noticed this recently. Must be some sort of interference.

It transpires this happens when I have a SmartVideo denoiser effect on my Video Output FX

I seem to having issues rendering out any MOV (dnxhd, animation, motion jpeg etc)

    It’s also worth noting that I’m exporting a 2K project. (2048 x 854 pixels).

I’m rendering uncompressed because I am delivering a video I edited, which will be transcoded (by someone else) to various requested TV formats etc.

I might give them an uncompressed AVI and see if that’s acceptable.

And now the whole program crashes and exits when I try.
