Sony Vegas Pro 12 & XAVC QFHD/4K from Sony F55
Hey I’m wanting how happy Vegas Pro 12 is editing XAVC QFHD/4K from Sony F55 camera. Straight from camera to Vegas.
I’m mainly thinking in terms of potential crashing/bugs/general compatibility, especially when it comes to multiple tracks (probably 10 layer, at 4 minutes per layer). My computer specs should be able to cut the mustard.

I would say go with Vegas Pro 13 instead of 12 for maximum compatibility and

Thanks for the reply. I wasn’t prepared to upgrade as usually I have my videos edited elsewhere.
Have you experienced or head of issues with Vegas 12 and XAVC from an F55?

No i haven’t Will, But i recommend Vegas 13 because its a lot more stable than
version 12 and most importantly, tons of camera format support improvements
