I have a 3 minute long video that Im rendering out

At the END of the video, there is a logo ‘X’

But when I render ot the video, logo X appears (looking about 50% transparent) for about 1 second at the BEGGINING of my video despite the fact that the first few seconds of my timeline is a black track (ie a track with a black overlay).

Why the hell is this happening?

Footage is Prores422, rendering out to INTERNET HD MP4.

[Will Kee] ” . . .that do not exist”

Hi Will, are you absolutely sure about this? Have you expanded that first section to try and see if by chance there is ANY presents of that “rough” X-Logo? I’m also assuming that the BLACK is there to obscure anything underneath it – yes? Can you see ANY presents of that X-Logo below the BLACK Event?

I can’t think of any reason why you’d be getting this annoying result.

Please report back. If you could post an expanded and zoomed in view of the first 2 seconds that we are referring to that’d be great.

    Grazie

Will? You’ve had something similar before. Does this sound familiar and how did you cure it then?:

Yes I have had the same issue before – I had forgot about that! When it happened last, it was on a different computer and on a totally different project.

I believe it happens when NeatVideo plugin is activated. I have noticed this recently. Must be some sort of interference.

It sounds like some plug-in has reverted back to Trial Mode and is rendering the X to make the video unusable. If it’s NeatVideo, try taking it out of the plug-in chain and see if it goes away. Then contact NeatVideo and find out why your license isn’t working.
