No, audio is more hands on than a lot of programs and you have to do a bit more work if you want to produce a good sound ……. WILLIE

I am not sure “copy” is the right term … On the session side when you build your track mixer it remembers the last action so if I build a compressor setting for one track then add that feature to another track via building a track mixer for the new track, whatever the last compressor setting I used on the previous track will be the same setting when opened on the new track … If you want you can always make that setting a preset and then apply it at any time … If you want the same volume make sure your track volumes are set to zero and then adjust the master volume … I hope this helps, if you are still unsure then write back and I will and I will work with you until you do grasp it … Sometimes with audio there isn’t a “one click will fix it all” senerio ………… WILLIE

Ed,
To do it properly there are no short cuts, one section at a time is what I recogmend … Normalize just works on the peaks and although doing a hard limit will bring up your low volumes it will also add gain to you louder volumes … Audio isn’t mircowave tecnology if you want it to sound right you need to put the time in and no matter how good the video is, if the sound isn’t quality the video will always be less than it can be ………… WILLIE

I think before someone is allowed to go out and film that they should know at least some basic information about audio, most importantly what can and what can’t be fixed in post … This my friend is one that really can’t be fixed in post … You can bring the volume up but along with it comes all the junk … I have had some limited success but it is always at trade off with the audio suffering, (takes the dynamic out of it leaving it sounding very flat) … You could email me a minute or so and I can see if there is any hope, but my experience tells me to not hold your breath … E-mail to loganonestudio@aol.com if you would like me to try … Good luck ……… WILLIE

Did you try to remove using the spectral mode? You can only remove one pop at a time but it works very well … Read the help file on “Single Pop Removal” … If you are still having a problem E-mail me a minute are so to loganonestudio@aol.com and I will see if I can help … WILLIE
