You over did it and most likely didn’t capture “JUST THE NOISE” first … Go back to the original file capture “JUST THE NOISE” in between the voice then hit the OK … Now open the niose removal feature again with your whole file selected … I would start at about 60% and preview the file before hitting OK … If you take too much out it wil sound very much like it sounds now … The best thing to do is take it out slowly VS all at once …….. Wave mapper isn’t going to help you at all you need to have whatever you are using to record through on the list … If it doesn’t show up on the list go to the REWIRE tab and you should be able to get your input device listed …

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Audition 1.5\help\en_US\html\help.html

Have you set the in’s and out’s up on your tracks as of yet? What version are you using? As for trying to belittle you in any way that wasn’t my intent nor am I mad sorry you took it that way …………..

In options go to device order and set up your record and playback devices … Seriously this is the easy part of Audition and if you can’t get this you may want to rethink this whole recording thing …

Check to see where you have the sensitivity set by right clicking on the VU itself … I like to set mine at the lowest setting which is 0 to -35db I believe ….

Your problem is in your computer I would think, but the simple solution would be to simply print the lyrics out and let them read fron a hard copy

    Dear Scared,

There are alot of us out there that are anti mac … I would use an external hard drive to record to since most laptops only have 5400RPM drives … I suggest you just enjoy the experience …

I just export the audio as a stand alone WAV file, import it into audition correct it then replace the original audio with the corrected audio in my timeline … If you have an edited time line there is no reason to export it as an AVI file especially into soundbooth since the quality of the program is questionable at best ………..
