So, in the future should I set up my project as 30 fps and allow my 29.97 fps clips fit into that and then the motion on my stills might behave better? Also, trying to get this project to a DVD. I am choosing MPEG2-DVD and then I do not know what presets to use. I just want to get this on a DVD that can play on a widescreen TV.

timeline is 23.976 FPS. What should I be using to go to DVD?

It is happening in Pr, but it is subtle. However, when put into Quicktime or H.264, you can really see it. It does transfer to DVD. You can tell the position and scale are moving across the still image and it kind of drags.

I seriously doubt it has to do with processing speed (see below).

Quad Core Intel Xeon x 2 (8 Core)
2.4 GHZ
16GB RAM
WD 600GB HD 10,000rpm Raptor (OS, Apps and Project Files)
3 1TB WD HD 7200rpm in RAID 5 (video and audio assets)
1TB External G-RAID mini RAID 1 hooked up via eSata (exports and backups)

Kevin,
You have the same identical system as mine. I am sure that you did this already, but have you downloaded the new drivers from NVIDIA? The ones that came with the card need to be updated or it will behave poorly. Also, have you upgraded to OSX 10.6.6 before or after the card install?

Thanks. My new system has three 1TB hard drives and I have an external iOmega 2TB hard drive. I am wondering what is the best configuration of my three internal and one external drive to get the most our of PrPro and CS5.

That is what I thought. This is very frustrating. I will have to dump more money in to this. I am wondering if I should just cut on Final Cut. But, I really like what I have done with Pr CS5 so far.
