Stuttering Stills
I have been trying my hardest to stop the stills in my production from stuttering. They are not smooth at all. I am using MPEG Movies from my Canon 7D. Image Size: 1920×1080. Pixel Depth: 32 Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0. The stills are JPEG files. Image Size:1872x 2808. Pixel Depth: 24. Aspect Ratio: 1.0
The project is a simple 7 minute Wedding fusion piece. The videos and stills go back and forth between two video tracks. There are only about 4 cross dissolves in the whole piece The only effect is on the video clips and this is fast color correction which just has a mild adjustment in the mids to brighten the video a bit. The audio is a soundtrack I did in Garageband as an m4a file. The vows by bride and groom are also m4a on separate tracks.
The stills have movement (Ken Burns style) The key frames are only controlling position and scale.
What I have tried:
In Field Options: Always Deinterlace – Not working
Flicker Removal – Not working
Effect Controls: Anti-flicker – Not working
Resize jPegs smaller – not working
Resize jPegs bigger – not working
Render without GPU Acceleration (incase of problems with Graphics Card) – not working
Render with all three types of Bitrate Encoding (CBR, VBR1, VBR2) – Not workingDoes anyone else have this problem?
The final project, although the edits look good and the assets are good quality, looks like it was done on cheap video editing software.Any assistance would be much appreciated. I am trying to keep the faith in Premiere, but it is getting harder.
