Shouldn’t a simple uninstall of the Demo version before you installed the registered version avoided such a mess?

Grinner… I have deep sympathy for you & the problems you’re having with your edit rig, I really do, but I read this post… while in mid-chew of a PB&J sammich… now I’ve got sprayed PB&J bits across my monitor. DOH!

Well it’s certainly not the Z1, which I wouldn’t classify as new anyway. Are you talking about that little diddy that uses CMOS chips? Forgot the model #.

also… the most important should be noted:
the only time Avid should be open is when consolidating. All the other steps Avid should be closed.

It might be a good idea to correct your typos for those who haven’t done this before. Especially when it pertains to command prompts.
