I would search for the EX3 on the “Under Water, Over Land” section of another
popular DV site.Also… just search google with something like “ex3 wildlife nikkor” and you will get lots
of info. -

You may want to look at a “dumb” nikon adapter and use a Nikkor with manual f-stops.
The small chip size of the EX3 actually crops the Nikkor and makes a 100mm lens about
550mm, which will obviously get you pretty close to the action!Here is one of those such adapters…

…that adapter would be a EX3 to 1/2″ B4 adapter. Has nothing to do with Photo lenses.
Anyway, even with a proper adapter a photo lens would by multiplied by 5.5 times or around that.
So the widest Nikon will be 55mm, not exactly what you need.I suggest the stock lens and a WA adapter or rent a super wide 1/2″ lens.

After removing clip attributes such as Walter suggested…. why not just flip your
color correction monitor over, grade your film and output an UC Quicktime or similar?Then flip the outputted QT file after you’ve finished your grade, using the QT properties
or similar.That would save a lot of unnecessary rendering and time.

It also seems that they have discontinued their 16gb cards!

We have shot maybe 80-100 hrs on two EX3s and have not had that error…yet.
I have had XDCAM Transfer gray out a clip one minute just to have it pop up
after restarting the application. -
