Thanks Floh, you beat me to it again!

I would argue, however, that you SHOULD run the v7 driver from AJA because that is the driver that our engineers have been working with for some time now.

    For the lurkers…

This one has gotten a bit harder to sort out than I had anticipated so Jim and I have taken it off-line for now. I’ll post back when we have a better understanding of all the pieces to this puzzle.

The only display-related problem SHOULD be the fact that you cannot choose M100 Video Preview from After Effects (though you CAN choose AJA). We’re working on it, and hope to have it fixed soon.

I should also mention that you will find v1.1.1 on our site when you go to grab the download. It’s a minor maintenance release sporting support for the latest Blackmagic and Matrox drivers as well as a handful of other minor fixes and enhancements.

    Hey Jim,

Sorry about this… we had a temporary shortage of LHi cards in-house today so I was unable to do a “sit-down” with the engineer whose help I need on this one. The card is in my Mac now, but the Engineer’s home with his family :-).

    Tomorrow for sure,
    Wick

I am not purposely dodging this question. I was just unable to get a meaningful answer on it yesterday due to folks being out sick or on vacation. I hope to have something to say about it on Monday.

Producer stopped existing as of Media 100 Suite v1.0. It’s just one install now that works with hardware if you’ve got it or runs as software only if you don’t. So…

Exactly what version are you running?

You’ve overlapped the clips in the A/B tracks but have you created a transition in the FX track? Try double-clicking on the transition arrow between the two clips and see if the Transitions tab comes to life then.

The fact is that sometimes Project files get corrupted. The good news is that they are COMPLETELY replaceable. There is nothing saved in the Project file that you have GOT to have to resurrect your work.

As for the “end of file” message, it’s a system-level error that (9 times out of 10) means you’ve got a corrupted file on your hands. Luckily for you, it appears that the corrupt file was the Project and not a Program, Bin or media file.

Try a new project with the old Programs and Bins. If that doesn’t help, ensure that all drives involved are formatted Mac OS Extended.

Turns out there is a VERY lame workaround. If you use a 1920×1200 monitor then less of the tool gets chopped off, giving you access to more of the window.
