no transitions
I have installed producer on my macbook pro with 10.5.8 and there are no transitions, overlaying two clips gives me nothing, the transition tab in the Edit Suite is grayed out and many effects seem to be missing, I installed the Update but that hasn’t helped. Thanks

Producer stopped existing as of Media 100 Suite v1.0. It’s just one install now that works with hardware if you’ve got it or runs as software only if you don’t. So…
Exactly what version are you running?
You’ve overlapped the clips in the A/B tracks but have you created a transition in the FX track? Try double-clicking on the transition arrow between the two clips and see if the Transitions tab comes to life then.

I’m running Media 100 Suite 1.1 as software only, and ….I see, I was laying the clips in the
V1 track and looking for the transition arrow. Opened the V track and found A and B. Got it. My mistake. thanks
