Its a simple fix, it also stumped me for a while.

When promted to select file to import into AE, click the options button on bottom left of finder and uncheck sequence.

Yeah that could work pretty pricey though, thanks for the replies gents, might just do it manually for this little job, but that avenger is worth a closer look on a bigger project

Thanks for quick reply Dan, is not possible then to scale the group of shapes without going into each shapes transform> scale?

Its just there is so many shapes and it will be easier to control with one layer
