I agree that the “work around” is to first link the still images and then consolidate. I had a recent issue where my user settings got corrupted and that messed up my ability to link some images. With a new user setting that issue went away.

Update – A partial solution has been worked out. The export problem — is a problem on some of the export CODECS but not all. Export MXF for NLE does work !
Whether you need the Main Concept Conversion Pack for that or not I do not know.

Could you explain what you mean by the maj lock button? I would love a solution to this problem.
