no I don’t use either of those.

Someone also mentioned a possible quicktime problem but I dont have a problem with quicktime at all.

Spot on Mylenium…spot on.

I love your position on Copycats. While I believe we all inspire each other in this global community of art…I do believe simply coping effects because you saw something and liked it but lack the creativity to change it to make it your own is unacceptable. Also looking outside your medium for inspiriation is key and enlightening.

No more ranting.

Wouldnt you do the effect with precomps and masks instead of adjustment layers??

I dont know if they are chroma keying in images because I have seen some extensive camera moves used.

After learning more about it on the cow we have really taken a look at the amount light hitting the plasma and tried to cut that back a bit. It works good for blacks and helps with color temperature but we are still losing alot of highlight values…I think it is our cameras.

Great new look…Love the color palette. I also like the texture on the graphics elements.

The only bug I noticed is on my Mac using Safari and a mighty mouse I cant scroll down. It just scrolls horizontally…it makes me feel drunk. Wait dont fix it..hahaha.

Thanks for the help…I wasnt aware that a 128mb video card was acceptable for a laptop…I am a desktop man myself. I spend enough time infront of it as it is I dont need it to follow me out the door. For the glossy screen I will follow your advice and suggest that he stops by an apple store and check it out for himself…for the ram that makes sense I just didnt know if there was any speed issues with the two compared to one.

We are struggling from the same issues. We have just adjusted the colors on the Plasma screens so that they look somewhat better on camera but nothing like MSNBC pulls off. Our cameras are a bit older also

…so someone please share the knowledge.
