I don’t believe HD150 is capable to pulldown, unless there is a setting, that I don’t know about.

    Hi Floh,
Most importantly, it is very easy to export the project from FCP to DVD Studio Pro for authoring without complications. I am not quite sure how to do it from M100. Also, new generation of editors is much more familiar with FCP, than M100.
Does M100 site have codecs for FCP? Do you have the link handy?

    Thanks,

We had issues with HD files playing back from a G-Raids – they are designed for SD (DV or DV50). We were forced to upgrade to 15K 4 Cheetas SCSI Raid 0, which was quite expensive. A colleague of mine has been using E-SATA raid to cut HDCAM 4:4:4 footage pretty successfully.

Thank you,We are capturing DVCPRO50 footage that was shot onto SDX900. We have an AJHD150 deck, which only has SDI or SDHDI out and 60 hrs of DVCPRO50 footage. Just need to know proper way to capture it into our G5 via Blackmagic HD. All the settings and workflow for 24P Advanced.

    Thanks in advance.

Firewire is a great thing, no doubt – our dvcpro hd deck AJ-HD150 doesn’t have firewire i/o . Also 10-bit uncompressed is not an option when you use firewire – the difference is dramatic, especially if you apply filters, importing, exporting your footage back and forth. Uncompressed captured via SDI or HD SDI just doesn’t deteriorates.

Thanks for all your help Do you think, I will get screwed if i decide to batch capture whatever was cut thus far – cause of 23.98 digitizing, the right clips probably will never get pulled…- things are so easier with M100,
