Thank you for answering. All you write is exactly what I thought. Because it never happened before and before I was on CS6 too, I thought the problem is some incompatibility between the new CC and… something else down the line (again, everything else down the line, including Encore hasn’t changed for years). So I checked and double checked the settings. I even made alternative copies in with all-48000 or all 44100 etc. Same thing. Like you say, it’s there somewhere but I can’t find it.

Thanks again (if you think of something else, please write),

Normally I export H264 BluRay. This time, because of the bad audio in the BluRay, I tried DVD and even DNx. The audio is wav. I can’t tell if Encore is transcoding it. The point is that I have always, for years, done the same thing, but this is the first time I get the bad audio.
    Thanks,
    Vasco

Yet two more years later I came upon this UNANSWERED post because I have the same problem, only now it’s CC18 already.
    Anybody out there?

I can’t use Handbrake, although I’d like to, because I am on Windows and it doesn’t accept DNx (mxf) source files. Any advice here?

    Thank you, Bouke!

    Thank you, John and Dave!
Would you advise that I pan one all the way to the left and the other all the way to the right in order to preserve the original audio balance?

    Regards.

You mean where it says: • When you render Previews, Export Media or use certain Analysis effects (Warp Stabilizer, Rolling Shutter Repair, Morph Cut), Premiere Pro always uses and displays Full Res, regardless of the Toggle/Enable Proxies setting. The only exception is when you have Offline Full Res, but Proxy is Online, then Proxy is used.

I read it but like I wrote earlier… there was this tutorial… Anyway, my question was answered. Thank you.

I thought so too but on one tutorial a guy said you should turn off the Toggle proxies icon. I didn’t, hence my question.

    Thank you, Tero!
    Which formats supports chapter markers?
