    No problem John, I was able to get the shadow (faked in photoshop) done perfectly and I’m very pleased with the finished product. I will send you the veg once I get home, but you can watch the video here

    Thanks John, that’s exactly what I was looking for. I can use this for the basis of other changes to rotation and position, rather than having to do things manually.

    Thanks John. I didn’t realize that I’d have to be concerned with the pixel ratio, so thanks for mentioning that.

    I also created a heartbeat spline in photoshop, which I had considered masking in vegas pro. I figured I could reveal it over time and this might simulate the same effect, I just figured there should be an easier way in Max. Guess I’ll give them both a try and see what I like better.
