  • can an EKG pulse be made in Vegas

I struggled with which forum this question should go, so don’t be mean if I blew it. : )

I want to animate something that looks like an ekg pulseline going across a background image. I’m not sure if this can be done, but if so…how?

I created the pulseline in photoshop, and thought I could do something with opacity over time to make it look as if it was moving (animated). Only I’m having trouble making it actually work.

Guys, if you could just give me a suggestion as to what I might look into I’d really appreciate it.

    Thanks.

    Valerie.

I don’t know what version you are using of Vegas but I just put this together in Vegas Pro 8.0- hope you can open it (If not, download the trial of 8 or 9 pro from sonycreativesoftware.com and you can open it with either of them.

I have included the files necessary to show you how to do the effect. It is really easy once you know what to do.

    Here is the link.

That’s no good- try this one 🙂

    The Link.

I don’t know why, but every time I tried to add the file via filezilla, it would populate as being empty. However, when I went directly to my host site and used their software, it worked fine.
