    Hi,
I wish, they would finally turn this off. If I want to see TV-Colors, I’ll hook up a TV.
It ruins the whole workflow. And is getting worse in FCP 6 (Studio2)
    regards.

    Hi there,
is there any solution to this coming up? What does Apple say to this? I just tapped into the same bug/feature. Why is there no button in FCP (and other software) that just turns off all this “gamma-assuming” ?
I guess I will have to downgrade FCP to version 5 again…

    Hi,
I’d probably get a PC put Quicktime on it and convert the files to QT. I had something similar the other day. Quicktime on PC played it.

    Hi,
I dont know if this sounds stupid and ridiculous to you, but I had a problem with FCP not playing back correctly myself on a G5 the other day, and just found out that the video in the canvas-window needed to be fully visible in order to play on the external Broadcast-Monitor (Decklink). So I pressed “fit window” and all was ok again.

thought I had to share this
