    I tried it again on final output and screen view, they too allowed you to see the results in real time. Still, status view is the quickest.

    Status view works the best. You see the changes in real time. If you’re in screen view than it goes low res as soon as you make a change. Final output doesn’t update at all.

    Heh. I get that. Good to know.

    It reminds me of when I first used blender and the Z and Y axis seemed to switch place.

    STANDARDIZE PEOPLE!!! C’mon!

    That’s more or less what I had (less being all those fancy if statements) but I see the same problem in your code.

    ---------------------
    X
    |\
    |
    |
    |
    |
    |
    b
    |
    |
    |____a_____\
    ------------------------

    Since you pushed ‘c’ in the direction of ‘b’ then we’re solving for angle X.

    sin = opposite/hypotenuse = a/c

    cos = adjacent/hypotenuse = b/c

    I don’t understand why the code shouldn’t read acos(b/c)

    My solution is to create a proxy immediately (if HD) BUT before I render it out I also add the audio the render que as a wav file. Now you only have to wait for the audio to conform. Short comps will cruise.

    I meant to post in the expression area in the first place and but accidently posted here. I failed…. twice.

    I could have manually laid down hold keyframes but I wanted the frames to proceed at an exponential rate that I could easily adjust.

    I found a very simple solution and replied to my post in the expression forum.

    Thanks for the replay

    Well, I found an easy solution to the time posterizing. I created a slider and keyframed it 0 to 30 and used the Math.floor(value) expression. Gave it a curve. Applied posterize time to my footage and keyframed to my slider results. Still not entirely accurate but it’ll do.

    next I have to work out how to add the counter. I’m trying to graphically represent ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ so I need to make a counter that adds 1000 every time the frame switches. It would be mucho appreciated if someone has any tips on how to do it. I’ll be working on that now and will be sure to post the solution once I figure it out.
