Depending on the plugins you have you can go about this several different ways, however the basic formula is the same. So whether you use AE’s own lens flare, CC Light Rays, Knoll Lens Flare or Optical Flares, the first thing you need is to create two layers of lens flare: one with a small one that is the base light (dot) and the second that is the light at full brightness. You may need to precomp the second Flare layer and then animate masks to create the laser like light sweep. Once you create one light with animation you can then duplicate that comp and offset the time (or mirror it) to create the light dance.
There is a possibility also of using some good images of lens flares with a glow (@32 bit color depth)and applying masks to them as described above.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

Quick solution- find a spherical globe projection file with the shapes of the continents, apply CC Ball Action to it to create the dots texture and then CC Sphere to create the globe. You can find tutorials on how to link CC Sphere to respond to a AE camera if you need that.

Not sure how your setup is, but this is how you do it: Make sure the text animation you want to re-use is in a comp by itself. Duplicate the comp in the PROJECT window and not in the Timeline, as many times as needed, rename and then go in each individual comp and change your text. This will create separate compositions that can be individually tweaked without affecting the others. If you duplicate in the Timeline, you create instances of the same comp and if you change anything in one of them it affects all.

The more – the better. It’s just a question of budget really, if you have the money get as much RAM as yor machine can handle.

Redraw the shape with the “Shift” key pressed as you draw. If you still do not get a perfect circle then make sure your Composition is setup with a square pixel aspect ratioand not some other aspect ratio.
