Thanks for your reply. I have moved the anchor point and am using keyframes but its proving impossible to get it natural looking. Could you give me any advice?

As mentioned previously, i am after an effect similar to that on Stranger than Fiction, where objects and text appear to swing naturally.

Any help would be greatly received!

Hey there,

Just in response to your above post, you mention ‘Transcode 50i to 25p with Compressor’ – I am trying to transcode a 25p PAL shot footage (captured on to DV tape so obviously 50i now) back into 25p using compressor, but I cannot find or even know the right settings within compressor to do this – can you help??

hey, i know this post has been a while, but am just wondering what is the best to do.

I am importing 25p PAL footage into my final cut (what’s the best import settings?) and I need to export for both Web AND DVD – what is the best export settings.

Am shooting 25p as it’s more filmic and want to retain that.

When I import at 1080i50 (and 1080p25) and then export (using h.264, sorenson, none, hdv etc etc) they all come out jittery and then stall and then freeze and dont play.

Anyway, any help greatly appreciated…
