    Update.

After contacting Sony Pro phone support I have confirmed several things.

    1) macOS Sierra (v10.12.3) is not supported by the current Optical Disc Archive software version which includes the Optical Disc Archive Utility(v4.0.1) and ODS firmware(v1.670).

    2) The Sony tech said an Optical Disc Archive software update is scheduled to be released this month(February)

    3) The Sony tech also said the data stored on the cartridges should be fine but I won’t be able to access it until the new Optical Disc Archive software update is installed. I might be able to revert OS, but if the new ODA software update is slated for release this month I’d rather wait and avoid the headache.

I will admit, I should have followed conventional protocol when it comes to updating OS: Check all hardware drivers and software for new OS support before updating. And/or, at the least, wait a full six months after the initial new OS version’s release before updating. Like most editors, I was taught that early on by wise tech folk. Should have headed that warning on this.

We have also had this problem. We have a PPCC AVCHD 59.94p sequence containing mostly AVCHD59.94p(from SonyFS700). There are some ProRes File mixed in.

When exporting to our broadcasters format (MXF: XDCAMHD 50 NTSC 4:2:2 29.97p) these green pixels show up in some dark areas. It happens on both AVCHD59.94p(from SonyFS700) and ProRes clips, with and without the three way color corrector filter applied.

    Rendering from PPCC on 21.5-inch, iMac-Mid 2011:
    2.8 GHz Intel Core i7
    16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB
Media is on an 8TB Thunderbolt G-Raid

Its truly maddening! We are trying your suggested solution now. Hopefully that is the trick. I Pray!

So you might have just answered my question. Is your system connected: iMac > Thunderbolt Raid > Ultra Studio Express? Are you daisy chaining the Ultra Studio Express through the Thunderbolt Raid? I guess what I am asking is: If your Raid and your BM Ultra Studio Express are both connected via thunderbolt how are you connecting them to the iMac. Unless I am mistaken iMac only has one thunderbolt port.
