OOPS I found my answer here.
I just had to change my project pixel format. -
How should I set my ruler format?
As I have to stretch my song to match the ruler, I thought I should set it to “seconds” because there would be minor stretches then to other formats but we were talking about frames so should I set it to Absolute frames/time & frames etc?

That’s what I said above, Mike.
Having to separate song parts then stretching them to match video frames is weird.
My projects are always this way, I make a song, add it to Vegas then create scenes for different parts.
It would be impossible with QF on cause audio doesn’t follow video frames so that’s why I always turned it off.
From now on I’ll have to add a song, separate its parts and stretch them to match video frames then I’ll create scenes.
Gee, it should be easier 😉 -
I don’t know about your problem but…
A few years ago I had a problem with Event pan/crop.
If I zoomed in two tracks, it worked fine but if I had to zoom 3 tracks simultaneously, Vegas crashed.
I googled, searched for help on a dozen forums, reinstall Vegas, I did everything I could but nothing worked.
I even reinstalled windows (without formatting).
No help for me lol
Then I formatted my hd and installed Vegas.
Never had that problem again. -
Wait I’m lost.
I have to add events following song parts which obviously don’t follow video frames, so if I turn QF off and add events following song parts (that’s what I did), when I render I’ll have the same problem cause song events are not following frames. But if I add them following frames, they will not match song parts.
WTH???!!!So trying to understand what you said, I have to make song parts match my project frames stretching it, right?
That’s crazy LOL -

Hey mike one question.
Let’s start a new project with QF on.
Then I add a song track.
Let’s say the parts of that song don’t match the frames of the project.
Example:
Let’s say the chorus part ends between frames, my events have to end there too and the next part events should start there too but with QF on I won’t be able to add events “outside” of frames. How does that work?I hope I made myself clear.

I started a new project.
QF on.
I added a 5s image and rendered it.
Rendered file has the same size.
I can only imagine I started my other project with QF off. Thanks guys for trying to help 😉

Mike with QF enabled, I selected all clips and moved them to a frame.
I rendered and again the same problem.
Rendered region is bigger no matter what.As you can see in my numbers, the rendered region is bigger.
Vegas added that tiny part.
