pro 13 can’t delete or add files without freeze
I can’t add nor delete files from my time line without locking up 13. I have tried drag/drop, add in menu and delete in menu same result.
I have a new computer
32gigs ram
512ssd vegas runs off this
nvida 1060 6 gigs
gigabyte p-70 -

I don’t know about your problem but…
A few years ago I had a problem with Event pan/crop.
If I zoomed in two tracks, it worked fine but if I had to zoom 3 tracks simultaneously, Vegas crashed.
I googled, searched for help on a dozen forums, reinstall Vegas, I did everything I could but nothing worked.
I even reinstalled windows (without formatting).
No help for me lol
Then I formatted my hd and installed Vegas.
Never had that problem again. -

It seems to be intermittent, its gotta be an incompatibility issue, is 13 compatible with a NVida 1060? I am trying to think of what has changed from my olf computer to my new one. Using an ssd drive and 7200 rpm. I took the file and copied it to both , same issue so I don’t think its the drives.
using a new i7 7700 intel, all updates done
