Thankyou very much for all your advice. Certaintly alot to take into consideration. It is a digital television course, I will look into doing it more live. At the campus we have access to 4 broadcast cameras, I beleive they are D9’s, they will only shoot 4:3 though.
Barry what a great idea to stream it over the internet. The main reason I want to do something as big as this is to prove myself and others that I can go above and beyond the call of duty. I think the key to this is going to be planning.

Thankyou for everyones input, really appreciate it. Will keep this updated.

For me the best way of convincing clients that wish to use illegal music and that we wont use it; is to explain that when we use royalty free music or music specifically composed or chosen for a set peice that it is much more original and is taylor made for their video.
Especially when the fact that 9/10 weddings will all use illegal music, the music we choose is for that video.

Thanks very much for the info. Is it possible to create an XML from CS4 to CS3 as a work around? Or is it just not possible no matter what you do to go from CS4 Mac to CS3 PC?

Just want to make sure I’ve covered everything before I pass on the bad news.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your quick response. I have access to CS3 at my university. Do you think if I resaved the after effects files in CS3 that this would fix the problem?

Our previous head of department used to tell us ‘Don’t bring me problems, bring me solutions. Just get it done seamlessly’ and thats pretty much the way I work now. In my opinion you should always tell the client that there is a problem after the fact you have done everything humanly possible to try to resolve the problem. Then make sure it NEVER happens again and move on, because there is no point worrying about ‘What has been done’ but ‘How can we avoid it next time.
