great .. just what I thought.. I’ll have to see if I can get my hands on a HDV player so I can import it.. cause I sure as don’t have a HD camera.. Or..I’ll just pay someone to import and save it as RAW footage then import it into final cut..

Oh.. yeah.. the effects were really tacky… I did not get payed for it.. So I just did it really quick…my first ever..

oh and the site.. yeah..I’ll have to see if dreamweaver has a setting where I can put that second video to play only once clicked..

wow.. thanx.. once again.. one of those things.. you really dont think about till you hear it from someone else.. yeah.. he was moving around a lot.. no pogo stick.. just too much movement…

as far as the girl.. yeah.. it was so late.. and cold for her.. and my misuse of my glidecam 4000 did not help either…. ( I never did like a lot of videos I see where the video does not go with the music so I figured “let me keep it moving and flowing” but I will really really read the RULE book.. a lot of things Im learning as I go along..

how I just got a great idea.. I’ll hire Alex Rodriquez to hold the Glidecam.. You know you are right.. always heard great stuff about the Glidecam..

wow.. thanx a mill for all your great input.. yeah .. I’ll check into detail all those B&H links.. its so crazy.. so agree with you with the Glidecam stuff…. stuff is heavy… on top of my canon xl-1 which is not that light.. plus my 7inch monitor on the glidecam 4000 base.. HMmMmM.. I’ll end up breaking my arm.. its funny you mentioned the brace they make for it.. I had it.. the whole forearm and vest package.. what a piece of crap.. returned it right away.. the real deal is the one with the spring loaded action arm.. but my god how expensive that stuff is…. I will look into that link closely.. thanx again.

great thanx for the info.. so here is my question now.. how can I have my film look like this 1.85 to 1 ratio.. I noticed thats how all these music videos look.. I own a canon xl-1.. and shoot 16:9 all the time..but my mind is asking me… why even have this differnece in 16:9 variations? why not just have one wide screen size and call it a wrap?

please enlighten me..

Oh by the way..Im posting my video hopefully tomorrow night so you guys can tell me what you think of my video… i’ve learned a few things the hard way..
1. never ever..ever shoot the same scene on two different days!! sunny, rainy, clouds.. mess up all the shots.. too different..

2. never shoot a shot when the subject is walking from a dark area where there is no sun.. into a sunny area..

3. Dont use automatic on camera.. You still get overexposure..

4. Always better a bit too dard then too bright….
..
5. Use reflectors.. to brighten sides or front of peoples faces..

oh.. I see.. Iwent back to my class..its actually working now…i went into the preferences.. and chose one of the DVD presets…. the 90 minute one.. even though its just a 4 minute video. is that good? I see now 2 files.. no wonder when I went to dvd studio pro.. there was no sound..
