    suggestions please..
    or am i crazy?
look at the video at 32 and 34 seconds..
not for the girls. but for the huge white background..

This is shot in front of a white cove… The trick with green screen is shooting 4:2:2 video (HDV or DV is problematic for sure) and to light the green screen evenly, and very separated from the lighting you use for the foreground. (the people maybe?)

The foreground needs to be really separated from the background physically too so there’s no green spill coming from the green screen.

But it’s a LOT easier to shoot a white piece of paper for a background than it is to do a chroma key to do it. YOu can get seamless paper in rolls up to 12′ wide that work well if it’s wide enough for what you’re shooting, otherwise, a very large white cove is the way to do this.

Any large photo store will carry rolls of seamless paper in their lighting or studio photography departments.

For mail order, look at B&H, The Set Shop or Calumet.

You’ll have much better luck renting a cyc wall for a day @ a studio setup for this. Much easier.

See this old but still good Lighting Infinite White Tutorial Video.

Savage offers vinyl background rolls, more expensive than paper but easier to light and they last longer.
