thanks. i checked into it, just can’t figure out what i’m doing wrong. Here’s what i’m getting after i put the script in:

I recently had a new tower purchased and FCP 6 reinstalled. The weird thing is this: in the USERS folder, there is no Library. Where do I go to trash prefs if there is no folder (You mentioned to other poster that Main library folder was the wrong place to go)

i looked at the link. Thanks for the suggestion. What about fabric (which is what I was trying to use)? Is there any real substitute for a chroma screen?

Additional problems: when I click under the oversized viewer, the original screen comes back, but when I click anything on the screen, it reverts back tot he oversized viewer. Also, after i trashed the prefs and re-booted, my pref list has not returned to the library list.

ok. i am saving on almost every edit and without warning, fcp will begin acting erratically (not allowing drag n drop effects, etc). when i shut down, i get an error box (fcp has shut down without warning).
i cannot figure out the issue. i have had to re-edit a part of the sequence that i’m working on 4 times and when i use “restore project”, i can’t get back the edits that i just did. i am UUNDONE!!
