You color correct inside the angle editor of the multicam clip. You edit the video, make it a compound clip, and then apply the broadcast safe filter. You have to do that because the color correction is downstream from the effects.

You can’t optimize uncompressed media. It is already optimized. Convert it to ProRes 4444 as Jeremy said before you import it. Anything with an alpha channel is going to be a big file and will require a lot of processing.

If the video has an alpha channel it’s already optimized. How are or why you optimizing it?

The condensed font looks more difficult to read.

I think the color of the skimmer is more saturated red. All these appearance changes are probably retina based.

Hopefully there are more bug fixes, but not finding anything new yet.

You can try the backup in the projects folder. You should also get Pro Versioner from Digital Rebellion to autosave backup versions.

FCP really needs to have aspect ratio controls built in. It’s amazing to me that in the huge amount go information available in the info tab there is zero about aspect ratio, PAR, or anamorphic settings, though so much video, especially the Panasonic formats still are anamorphic.
