Thanks Guys. I found a solution that works fine. since my laptop uses a C partition only I didnt want to rename anything. The folder where my project and media are stored is c:\video. The path my desktop recognizes is e:\video. I shared the video folder on my laptop and mapped a drive to \\mylaptop\video. The drive letter I used in the mapping was ‘E’ so now when I open my project on the laptop I am good to go and everything is recognized.
