Gabi, you could use an uncompressed codec which will be very large files or a loss-less codec like PNG which makes image sequence files.Or you could use Prores (on PC) or DNxHD which most professionals use for mastering which are very clean in their compression and a very manageable size. Your choice..

I think you have to replace the PrP clips that are dynamically linked to AE with rendered movies from AE, before you can drag the entire PrP timeline back over to AE for CC.
Other wise you have dynamically linked comps in a dynamically linked comp.

From looking at your system I would say its under powered for CS6. 4GB of ram is very small and playing HD video off a fire wire drive creates a real bottleneck.
I can see why you are not happy with your experience. Your machine does not give the Adobe Mercury Engine the power that it needs to work with HD.
FCP is designed around all clips being Prores. PrP is designed to play clips natively. That part of why you are having such a frustrating time I think.

I havent tried it, but the AE tracker is very capable and I would guess that it would do a fine job, Vishesh.

Good point. Actually there’s an aescripts product called “Elementary” which will create shadows and reflections for Element, Proanimator , Particular and similar plug ins. The shadowing in Element is pretty weak at this point.
On closer inspection there are no shadows being cast by the pillars in the room, so any shadowing on the can would stand out as not being appropriate for the lighting environment.

Im new to using 3D models in AE as well. There is a way to create a composite UV map of many textures, but you will have to research this with folks that know C4D. I use Blender and am still refining the process. Good luck!

Thats is a very long HD clip. What kind of raid array are you storing and playing that media back from?
