two possible ways:
1. Apply 3D camera tracker and then link your elements accordingly (tested, looks OK)

Hey Mariano, there is no such direct object access as ‘items’.
What you need to do instead:
1. Loop through all project items or some specific of your choice (containing in some project panel folder or selection)
2. Check if the type of an item is a comp.

EDIT: I guess you are talking about the image, assuming that all the alpha around is part of it. Sorry! There is a good script called AutoCrop, which allows crop image without affecting any of its transformation props (if that helps)

Try rendering in AE’s Render Queue directly and then encode finished video – see if it helps to speed it up.

Julie, instead of explaining all stuff in writing, I will just add a project file here. I chased down this as it was interesting approach. With few adjustments, it could be turn into more unique and complex execution though, but I added significant sliders already.
You can control the bounciness by adding expression to slider ‘crosses-offset-distance’.
Other than that, everything is pretty straight forward and with proper layer/effect names.

Hey Nathan, well, I couldn’t agree more with Joseph, he definitely has a strong and correct point.
At the same time, I understand that not everybody has enough time and sanity, to create something as complex as templates can offer. While by using them you loose sense of uniqueness, if it does not make a major difference to your business – thats completely fine.
Now talking about other templates sources, most of websites offers similar style/complexity templates. Only visuals varies, so there won’t be a brand new different world to discover. With that said, you could look at such sites like:

Instead, if you don’t want to build projects from scratch, think of combining different templates and making more complex customisation to them. In such way, you will not run short of templates that fast ☺

Ahaa, gotcha. The reason why I was a bit ‘confused’ about an external meaning, is whether it MUST be external by means.
On the other hand, the whole idea here is just to keep specific files (cache in this case) on a different drive, disregarding their ‘physical’ appearance.
With that said, for a cache, you will definitely see a difference with SSD over HDD. Take a look at this article, conclusions section: AE Disk Cache Performance
1. Use at least an SSD for your After Effects Disk Cache. Not only will you be able to finish writing to the
disk cache 2-3 times faster than if you were to use a platter drive, but you will also be able to play both
cached and uncached compositions significantly faster (anywhere from 15-30% on average)
2. Faster NVMe drives can give moderate performance gains in some situations. It certainly is not across the board,
but faster NVMe drives can allow you to finish writing to the disk cache up to ~20% faster
and may let you play uncached compositions a bit faster (~5%)Now talking about USB 3.0 vs Thunderbolt – maybe someone has an objective opinion, as I haven’t ran any comparisons myself, nor am familiar with both.

1. Are the crosses shape layers? If so, are they lines or rectangles? The reason why I ask this, is shapes has a bit different anchorpoint/positioning grouping than plain layers.
2. Is text/text box only center aligned, or are there other alignment options as well?Cheers.

Hey Toby, I wonder what you actually mean by calling drives internal/external?
Do you call ‘internal drive’ as the main OS drive, or just literally, about their physical appearance in the hardware rig?
With that said, it would be interesting if you put specific article/reference, where it highlights the benefits among external drives? I never heard of that as a rule of thumb, and always thought all that matters, it to isolate different type of files into separate drives, and thats it.
As long as there is no simultaneous read/write requests from different assets, its treated as good optimisation in general.
