The targa sequence, did you finish the entire sequence from where you rendered that from? I believe that I had a problem before when I rendered an animation from 3DS Max and the entire sequence had not finished. Anyhow, just throwing that out there.

Great advice..Thanks! I have been rendering completely uncompressed for about a year to all my videos making for some huge files. I have been using Premieres Pros encoder to do my web compression and have let Encore encode for DVD…which takes forever.

    Thanks Steve!

This piece I shot in mini DV NTSC, so it already had footage with a lower filed order.

Yeah, I installed the Ace mega pack ACE mega pack and it still didn’t work. I hate to ask them to resend me another version.

No, did that. First thing I thought was I might have put the captures in the wrong place. This project is something I had in there for a few weeks. They all of a sudden dissapear. There were clips that were in the timeline, then it says they are offline. Gone.

I was thinking of that, it would definately be a good choice. This is WYES here in New Orleans. They got wiped out in the flood and really have just gotten things back up and running.

    Thanks,

Thanks Don, I’ve rented an Audio Techna for some gigs and it worked great. Its hard here in New Orleans to find anywhere to just get a mic, I really have to do my shopping online.

I will be looking around! Take care!

Figured out the skipping, for some reason, dont know why, but my original piece had a frame rate of 29.96….instead of 97. I reinterpreted all of my files to 29.97 and my main piece at 29.97 and its smooth.

I’ve gotten it to look better, it looks clearer but it seems to be skipping frames when I play it back. I know that when I play it back say compressed as a .mov with a Sorenson 3 codec it plays nice and smooth. Just when I use Adobe Media Encoder it skips bad. The first version, which isnt the new render is on the http://www.nolahopeandheritage.org site in teh video section. It’s “My Mothers house is the River”. I did all the others and they dont skip like this one. Here are my new

    Settings:
Video Codec: Windows Media Video 9
Basic Video Settings: checked: Allow interlaced Processing
    Encoded Passes: Two
    Bitrate Mode: Constant
    Frame: 512×384
    Frame Rate: 30fps
    Pixel aspect ratio: Square Pix(1.0)

    Bitrate Settings: Max Bit: 600
    Image Quality: 100

    Advanced Settings: Decoder Complexity: Auto
    Keyframe intervals: 5
    Buffer Size: Default

This is the new one that isnt on the web site. It looks good except the skipping. Cnat figure that out

    Thanks guys
