actually, I’ve been exporting at 29.97 instead of 30. I’m so used to exporting to 30 fps standard NTSC. I’m guessing thats the problem. What I usually do is let Premiere do the encoding. Here are my settings:

    Encoding passes: Two

    320 x 240

    frame rate 29.97

pixel Apspect Ratio: square Pixels (1.0)

    Decoder Complexity: Auto

    Keyframe interval: 5

    Buffer size: Default

    Average Bitrate: 361

    Hey Don,

I didn’t like it at first, but in post Icolor corrected the scene by warming it up and reduced interlaced flicker then burned to dvd for a test…it looks GREAT! I’m pretty shocked. I dont know if it was the post tricks or the frame mode that made it look so good! I will probably use it agian now.

    Thanks Don,

I really should’ve looked into this before I shot the entire day in Frame mode. I can’t undo what I did because I filmed someone who is really busy and we did some shots that will be hard to do again. I’ve been fooling around aand achieving somewhat of a better look to it though. It was just disappointing and yes I should’ve stuck to effects and other techniques.

    No I know!

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

I will check with the manual…but I still have the feeling that it was the condensation. I really didnt look for a warning light, but shouldve. I just bought the camera and am getting use to it still. But again, it went from the AC in the car to a brutal 93 degrees here in NEw Orleans. I shouldve known better.

    Thanks,

I have rendered the project out and they are there. It seems that one image in paticular has the worst flickering. I have an animated glow on it and I wonder if it has something to do with that…it shouldnt though. As for an image, you cant see anything in a still shot of the flick, just a rendered clip. I dont know where I can store a clip at to show. Its a distortion.

Thanks guys. I’ve been doing all that, but every once in awhile I have a wierd distortion even with all the treatment. I’m wondering if it has something to do with my graphics card. I’m working on a PC and have a mediocre intel graphics card right now. I bought sn ATI RadeonX 1300 Pro card just havent installed it yet. I’m not too tech savy when it comes to things like that and rather have a professional do it while I’m in the middle of a project.
