Are you under the impression that Synthetic Aperture Color Finesse is not included with previous versions? It is. It has been for the past decade, so anyone with a functioning version of After Effects has it.

The warning is just telling you that if the contents grew to fill the size that you’ve allotted, then your disk would be full… and that’s bad.

In fact, the warning kicks in if the space that you’re allotting for the disk cache is more than 80% of your free space.

We are erring on the side of not being the rude application that fills your disk to the point of uselessness without warning.

One of the reasons that we moved to the more advanced F4V format for Flash video was better compression. So, yes, I would think so. But you should just try it and see for yourself.

Why are you using this script from Popcorn Island? There is a feature built into After Effects (CS6 and later) for importing FCP XML files.

“[Y]ou should be able to download and install Bridge as a trial that never expires. You won’t be able to open files in the Camera Raw dialog box or play video, but it will render all raw files for review purposes and everything else should work as normal.”

Why do they want FLV?

If they want something that plays in Flash Player, then why not F4V? FLV is much older and less efficient. The only benefit to FLV is the alpha channel (well, and ability to play on extremely old Flash Player).
