well, reduce interlace flicker is the 1st choice.

if this blurs to much, you can apply the anti-flicker only to parts of the image where the error is most prominent.

maybe you can get rid of too much contrast with other tools, but this depends on the look of every single page.

you can try it even with the vector output of flash.
the advantage of pixelbased data is that it is kind of “absolute”. but if the vector quicktimes works well in your pipeline – just do it.

used that kind of export a few years ago. premiere 6 understood this files pretty well. but the next premiere apps doesn

i prefer image sequences, because you need to rerender only specific frames in case of errors. but if you prefer quicktime – you can use png compression there too. another good (and most common for QT) choice for QT is “Animation” codec. but make sure that you set the quality to hightest and disable any keyframesettings in the QT dialogue. by the way: if you export out of flash use Quicktime Video instead of Quicktime to ensure that you render pixelbased data (instead of vectors).

only a quick suggestion, because i need to leave.

paint the cracks in photoshop and fill in the areas betwwen teh cracks with different shades of grey. use this as displacement map and as the source for a shatter effect.

    good luck,
