The problem seems to occur when doing a RAM preview in anything but full resolution. When settings are set to full, the preview is in sync. When working with HiDef this makes for very short previews.
When RAM previewing talking head clips in AE the voice is off. If I render the movie out, the audio is in sync. It’s not drifting, the amount it’s off seems to be fixed.
Floh’s suggestion above did the trick. I can’t find a version 3.2 of Graffiti and this system installed with 10.1.1. Where did you get it from?
Currently Graffiti 3.0.2.
Thanks Floh. That seems to have done it.
Appreciate the help.
Hey, did you see my post from a few days ago about Ref clips in AE 6.5 playing out of sync? Any thoughts?
I’m using Graffiti 3.0. When I render the title the entire line of text is moved way down so you can only see the top half. When working on it in Graffiti it appears normal. I noticed the same thing happens if I try and composite video clips with Graffiti. I’m working in a HD program.
I can send you something if you like – let me know what and where.
I did a benchmark test with Express Stripe and I’m getting Max 239 MB/s, averaging 218 MB/s. I think it’s safe to say it’s not throughput…?
I read about similar problems people were having after switching to 10.1.1.
We just set this array up for dual channel through put and it’s cranking. What kind of throughput would I need? I’ll do a benchmark and let you know what my numbers are.
