I just checked on some of my machines that just have the client installed. The directory structure should look like:

    MAXON
    NETrender
    clientprefs
    Exchange Plugins
    library
    manuals
    modules
    plugins
    resource
    results
    scene
    tex

all of my things like advanced render and Mograph are in the modules folder.

Hmmmm that’s weird. What version of C4D are you using? Are these the standard Things like Mograph and such, or third party plugins?

I haven’t done it with v11 but with 10.5 and 10 you run the Cinema 4d Setup on the machine with the client and JUST install the modules or plugins. It should put them in the correct location. You have to do it on each machine that you want to run a client.

I’ve never come across something like this…I’d be interested to see if you can find it Randy. I think many people could use it…so if you could post it here that would be awesome!

Here is a site with Trig formulas that you can swap out the C4D variables for the existing variables:

    https://www.alcyone.com/max/reference/maths/trigonometry.html

I just tried it and got some interesting things to happen. Probably would work well with the Formula Effector in Mograph as well. Just remember to experiment…you can’t break it.

    Just a thought…

    RE: #2
Can you clarify what you mean by
    “make one layer only apply”

If you want a texture to apply only to the fillet you can apply the texture to the extrude nurbs, then select the texture tag and in the attributes manager type R1 or R2 into the SELECTION area. R1 being the front fillet and R2 being the back fillet.

You can also enter C1 and C2 which will apply it to the front and rear caps only.

If you want to hold an animation at a certain frame you can go into the animation palette and set a couple of keyframes. Generally you’ll have one at the beginning and one at the end. Then add another at the frame where you want to hold the animation. Then CONTROL drag that keyframe down however many frames you want it to hold. The CONTROL drag will duplicate the EXACT keyframe. Now if you watch it, it will sort of hold but do a little jiggle. You can right click on the 2 “hold” keyframes and select CLAMP at the bottom of the menu.
