This is not really what I am looking for. In ypur sample file the multishader is cycling through colors. I want the colors to stay once they are born. Essentially I want the linea from the screen grab above to all be different colors.

Well that definitely slows down the render a bit. And now the cloned particles are using TWO physics engines… the TP and soft body. Is there a better way to do this?

Also while I’m at it, why doesn’t the Multi Shader work with particle clones?

  • Here’s a little screengrab of the situation.

  • I’m not really sure what you mean by use a cloner instead of a particle geometry object. I thought you needed the particle geometry to produce something render-able. Can you explain this a little further?

    Also, is there a way

Could it be that my null does not have a size to drive the expression?

    Dave,

I’m applying this to the position property of the null moving my credits and am getting the error.

What value to use this on? I’ve my entire credit roll using a null for the position change. I’m applying this expression to that null in CS5 and am getting an syntax error Expression disabled on line 11.

    Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks Bogesian, I’ve been looking at BCC Sphere Transition and it’s a nice effect, but the wrap is not complete as there’s a hairline split at the edges of the wrap.
