Alright, I think we figured it out. Thanks for all the responses. The FW400 port works fine, so that isn’t the issue. I think it lies with Leopard OS and the camera. It is somewhat of an older camera, and I think we need new drivers for Leopard to recognize it. I’m going to try and get in touch with Panasonic to see if they can help me out at all. Thanks again for the posts!

The same camera works fine with all the other computers.

Nah, the logic board is fried on the old one, so it is inaccessible. That’s the reason we got a new one.

I’m not really sure what you mean. Of course I did a google search. I know what the font looks like. And I’m not looking to buy something I already had on my old computer. I don’t know why it is missing from Final Cut on the data transfer. I’m looking for WHY this may have happened. And I couldn’t seem to find it on google, so I went here. Mind sharing what you found, isn’t that what this is for?
