Iff i purchase an aja kona card. Can i connect this player to this? Or does it just works with separate, this with firewire?

I would have an nice setup with the player and the mxo, to view on external hdtv or cinema apple screens. This can view sd also i presume?

Maby i was thinking buying this first and then later on a aja kona card, so i can edit even beta /dvcprohd stuff iff ever needed?

yes but i want it to view on a monitor.
So far been told that HDV needs cant be viewed on a monitor without an aja, decklink…

I checked thing out but im still am a bit confused(to much information).

Does this MXO does the same thing as an Decklink or a Aja card?

I do not have an Apple cinema display, but was thinking to buy it in the future. Now i have to s*tty ones.

Can i connect any player/recorder on this?

Hey Derek,

You defenitly start editing the video in FCP and then export all your cuts for AE.(QT export)
Be sure your edit is approved by the client(with still the key). Aldo they probebly wont know what you are talking about…but try.
Or buy Automatic duck. But its expensive.
Or use Premiere Pro, who’s better integrated with AE.
I think for keying PP is the best option. FCP and keying is not very nice.
But there are some plugins..
