File’s format new version – probbly update somewhere?

Hello,
Ive got this project i need to work further on but it cant open it because it saids: File’s format is too new for this version.
Because i know this company uses 6.0 i upgraded i while ago and work on there project(offen made by me at the company and working further at home on there Ext HD), just like now.So why does it say that?
Do i need to update?
Checking software update(via apple icon), it doesnt say final cut pro needs to update.
I called them, and they said they did an update recently.What do i need too do?To work further.
Deadline is tommorow and need to make graphics for it aswell🙁
Must be something ridiculously easy, but i don’t know.

O yes and they run leopard, im not.

I’ve no quick fix… you could export XML from the Leopard system to open in your’s… but otherwise I’m reading about this error message showing up lately, and my guts say, it’s the fact they ran leopard and you aren’t…
Hopefully someone else will chime in.

I am with Jerry, and I have a few suggestions. Make sure that you are running FCP 6.0.2 (run software updater) and they are running FCP 6.0.2. Perhaps you are running 6.0 and they are running 6.0.2.
Try renaming the project to something different, then open it.
