<p>I&#8217;m running Resolve 19 on an Alienware R16 desktop.</p>
<p>Resolve is giving a list of files it cannot find, but with over 20 it would takes hours to locate and transfer each individually. </p>

This makes using the zoom impossible, since at the start of the zoom you see what looks like a bad jump cut, from the full frame to, say, 98% of the full frame.</p>

Some are of a woman&#8217;s head, her bun is neat but the artifacts look like she stuck her finger in a lamp socket. The others are &#8216;ghost&#8217; images of her arm.</p>
<p>My hope is that seeing these images might help determine why the artifacts are happening.</p>

<p>Do you think the length of the flow transition might affect the artifacts? If a 24-frame transition was used instead of a 4 frame transition, do you think that would help?</p>

<p>i also shot footage in ProRes by taking the HDMI output of the Sony A7s3 camera and using an Atomos Shogun to record. Still had the same issue with artifacts in the output file.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not allowed to post any of the video, but the artifacts appear like &#8216;ghost&#8217;&hellip;</p>

<p>Yes, the footage was transcoded from XAVC to ProRes before creating the flow transition.</p>
<p>Since my first post, we tried increasing the bit-depth of the footage from 8- to 1-bit, and also tried recording the HDMI output of the Sony A7s3 in ProRes using a Shogun recorder, but these weird artifacts keep appearing.</p>

I could break the clip into smaller clips and retime them individually, is that what you&#8217;re suggesting? If so, what do you think is a better length for the clips?</p>
<p>The other thing I&#8217;ll try is rebooting the PC and running only Resolve so it has the entire system.</p>

Using dynamic zoom I&#8217;ve gone in 2x and used the blade tool to cut the clip so the pan occurs over the first 3 seconds of the clip, then holds.</p>
