delete multiple audio tracks
With the Sony FX9 I’m importing several clips, each clip has one video track and 8 audio tracks, but there’s only one audio track I want. Is there a way to delete multiple audio tracks, before or after placing clips in a timeline? Someone said to select all the clips before placing them in a timeline and right-click to select Clip Attributes, but that menu item doesn’t show. I’m using version 18.6

If the clips are in the timeline then select, unlink and then select & delete the empty tracks. Before you edit you should be able to select the Sony clips, right mouse and select clip attributes and just select the one track you need. This won’t work if you are selecting clips that have different attributes. So make sure you are selecting just the clips that have the same attributes to start with.
