I bought a used FS700u and notice that, even though the white balance is set to INDOORS preset and manual, the white balance changes over time. In the images I provided I’m shooting a gray background lit with tungsten lights at 3200. When the clip starts the overhead fluorescent lights are on. When those lights are turned off and only the tungsten lights are on, you can see the gray background shift from orange to a more neutral gray. It’s almost like have auto WB turned on, though i’ve checked and cannot find a reason why the color would shift.

Also, I can’t change the FS700 color temperature when I’m off preset and use the menu to incrementally shift the color temperature

    thanks,

You need a specific color temporature for filming right? Have you tried studio lights to adjust the brighter lights that can help you get the temporature you need? If its a camera feature as well, you may want to play around with the settings while using the studio lights to see if it gives you more results that you are looking for. Hope it helps. Anyone here can add to this just incase.
