Experiencing the very same thing here, in Pr Pro CS5. Imported AVCHD footage into Pr Pro, footage plays fine, however, no audio. Playing the clip in VLC renders audio like it should. Can anyone please advice?

    Thanks!

Importing the composition into Adobe Media Encoder produces a correct render. This must be related to After Effects somehow. Either way, issue partially resolved. Hopefully someone will pick up on this.

Thank you very much Andy! Will dive into the basics (heaven knows I need it). Thanks for the pointing out that I can set my composition and then scale/position the footage to fit. I thought AE cropped out parts of my footage when setting the composition size smaller than the actual stills, so it didn’t even occur to me that I could just scale it accordingly.

  • Yes, I mentioned that the blurry effect is already inherent in time-lapse photography, at least when dragging the shutter. However, I want to add light effect to these blurred motions. Thanks anyway though 🙂

  • Thank you so much for the pointers and the link, Ted! Can’t wait to get started with this. When I do, I’ll post the results.

    Thanks again 🙂
