OK, so I tried Blue again with my Geforce GT 240M videocard. But I can’t get Blue (trial) to work. The program opens fine (except for the error message), but the preview window stays empty (only a cross).
Also the example projects and the effects from the effects browser are not visible in the preview window. Most of the effects from the library browser are even not visible in the library browser, just empty windows.
If I open a new project and add a new plane track with some footage, I can see this footage in the track preview window, but that is how far I get with Blue. The composite window stays empty.Are you sure that Blue should work with my videocard?

Yes, it does exist.Boris has something like that and also RED GIANT. Unfortunately, those things are only for after effects, even not for Boris RED.

Boris RED 5 will be coming very soon. That one will be 64-bits-proof. I expect that upgrades for BFX and Graffiti will be following. So I would wait a little bit with upgrading your BFX.

You can film such a character in front of a greenscreen and then chroma-key the backgound out in Vegas.
The explosion can easily be made in Particle Illusion, although you cab also buy footage of explosions, e.g. at VideoCopilot

Are you talking about Vegas Pro or movie Studio?
There are many free plugins and scripts. However, the free scriptswill not work in Movie Studio.

Yes, just place your two titles on separate tracks. And fade them in and out bij dragging the fade-in and fade-out handles on the left and right side of each event.
