What’s the status of Boris Blue?

What’s the best OS and video card combination for optimal performance?

Does it Run on Windows 7?

    Can I use a 1GB video card?

    Thanks

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for asking. As far as the card is concerned, there should be no problem on any newer card with more memory. The software may initially complain about not recognizing the card/driver but if you ignore the message it should work. We’ll re-test installers on win 7 and update if necessary. I will report on this thread.

OK, so I tried Blue again with my Geforce GT 240M videocard. But I can’t get Blue (trial) to work. The program opens fine (except for the error message), but the preview window stays empty (only a cross).
Also the example projects and the effects from the effects browser are not visible in the preview window. Most of the effects from the library browser are even not visible in the library browser, just empty windows.
If I open a new project and add a new plane track with some footage, I can see this footage in the track preview window, but that is how far I get with Blue. The composite window stays empty.

Are you sure that Blue should work with my videocard?

    Theo
